University Life

So I've now been a university student for a month and already I'm starting to get the hang of things. Although I do wish I'd believed people when they'd told me that it was going to be a lot more laid back than high school. For anyone else who's recently come into the world of Tertiary study, they'll more than likely know exactly what I mean.
I do want to say one word of advice however, whatever the circumstances, you have to make your study a priority if you wish to achieve the good marks we all desire. Even if there's a million other things you'd rather be doing, or think need doing more urgently, make sure you make room to study most nights. It's easy to get caught up with life then realise you've got a test or assignment coming up that you've done minimal work towards. And never cheat, with today's technology and lecturers forever having a keen eye out for wrong doers, the chance of you getting away with it is pretty much nothing.
Anyway, enough of my dribble. I want to get my readers involved. What's people's views on tertiary study? Is it worth it? Should the systems that in place be changed, and if so, to what?
